Dear Rio Community School District Families, Staff, and Students,

I am honored and excited to join the Rio Community School District as your new Superintendent and Elementary Principal. It is a privilege to become part of a community with such a rich history of academic excellence and a strong commitment to student success.

Having spent my career dedicated to education, I am passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. I believe in the power of collaboration between educators, parents, and the community to create the best possible educational experience for our students. Over the years I have been a High School Spanish Teacher, Elementary Teacher of English as a Second Language, a Teacher of the Gifted and Talented, an Elementary Principal, and a Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.

As we embark on this new journey together, my focus will be on ensuring that all students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for future success. I am committed to supporting our dedicated teachers and staff, enhancing our educational programs, and maintaining open lines of communication with all members of our school community.

I look forward to meeting and working with each of you. Together, we will continue to build on the strong foundation of the Rio Community School District, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
